2009年，何家营鼓乐作为西安鼓乐的组成部分，被联合国教科文组织列入“人类口头和非物质文化遗产名录。”据传：唐天宝年间，汾阳郡王郭子仪的部将何昌期，曾率部于现在潏河南岸的何家营村安营扎寨，时称“何将军营”，后来被称为“何家营”延续至今。唐朝末年，战乱频繁，宫廷音乐随着宫人流落民间。何将军爱好音乐，谙熟音律，曾召集流落民间的宫廷乐师演奏宫廷音乐，经过民间艺人的进一步整理加工而逐渐完善，历经千年流传，形成了今天的何家营鼓乐#巴山摄水#http://p1.pstatp.com/large/pgc-image/0ef1a542e9e14568ac678d7aed6f1309
